Navigate the End-User Admin UI

Overview

The End-User Admin Interface in IQNECT provides administrators and users with a single, structured environment to manage tenants, systems, user permissions, and configuration resources.

This walkthrough covers how to navigate the interface, understand role differences, and manage each section of the Admin UI efficiently.

Prerequisites

  • You have valid credentials for the IQNECT Admin Interface.
  • You have the required permissions for your tenant (Admin or User).
  • You are using IQNECT 1.5 or later.

Access and navigate tenants

Log into the Admin UI.

After signing in, a list of tenants you have access to appears, select a tenant.

Understand tenant types

Admin tenant: Full access to all configuration menus and functionality.

User tenant: Limited access, only the Details tab is available.

Manage tenant details

The Details page displays company information such as logo, name, SSO email domains, and license expiration date.

This layout is identical on both the admin and user sides.

Click the kebab menu in the upper right corner to edit company details, delete the tenant, or send a usage report.

Edit company details

You can edit most fields.

Note: The company name cannot be changed.

Delete the tenant

Click Delete  to delete the tenant.

Caution: This does not permanently delete the tenant, it only deactivates it.

Send a usage report

Click Send Usage Report .

Choose a start and end date.

Add email recipients to receive the report.

The report will be delivered as a downloadable file via email.

Manage Systems

This section displays the Codebeamer system your tenant is connected to.

View, edit, or delete the systems using the kebab menu on the right.

Clicking View  in the dropdown brings you to the System details, where you can edit the system.

You can also view the Integration credentials.

Add or delete systems

Click + System  to create a new system.

Click Delete  to remove an existing system.

Warning: Deleting a system here permanently removes it, unlike tenants which are only deactivated.

Configure Single Sign-On (SSO)

Here is where you see existing SSO setups.

Manage SSO settings

Edit or delete configurations using the trash can and pencil icons.

Toggle the Active slider to enable or disable individual setups.

Click + SSO Configuration  to create a new SSO configuration.

The form includes multiple fields for defining identity providers, authentication methods, and connection details.

Manage Groups

This section lists all configured groups and their members.

Admins can manage group membership and define group permissions.

By clicking the kebab menu at the right-hand side you can edit the group, manage permissions, or delete the group.

Clicking Edit  brings you into the Edit Group window where you can add or remove users.

Clicking + Group  allows you to create a new group.

Permissions  controls what groups can access and modify in IQNECT. More on Permissions in the section below.

Click the kebab menu to edit details, manage permissions, or deactivate their account.

Select Permissions  to open the Permissions for User view.

Review both Direct and Inherited permissions:

  • Direct permissions are assigned individually.
  • Inherited permissions come from group membership.

Create permissions

When creating a permission, define:

  • Entity Type: e.g., AI Prompt Template, AI Snippet, Document Task.
  • Entity ID or use *   to apply to all entities.
  • Action: Specify allowed actions.
  • Expiration: Optionally set an expiration date for temporary access.
