Initialize indexing from the Indexing UI

The Indexing UI feature provides users with Administrator privileges to initialize indexing from the Codebeamer Reports page. The user creates a cbQL string that can be re-used by the new Indexing UI to invoke re/indexing.

A new Index button will show up when the user runs a Report.

When the user clicks on the Index button, a new modal will display showing the cbQL string used in the Report.

After the user initiates the indexing, the progress will appear in the user account popover.

In this popover, the user will be able to see:

• The number of items that were sent for indexing.
• The number of items that could not be sent for indexing.
• The number of items awaiting indexing.
